Ingredients
1 package Trader Joe's chicken Shawarma
1 pint cherry tomatoes
2 persian cucumbers
1/3 cup of crumbled feta
1 container garlic hummus
2 pieces whole wheat pita
2 tbsp za'atar
2 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp olive oil (2 for cherry tomatoes, 2 for pita)
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 F.
Dice chicken shawarma filets.
Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, 1 tbsp za'atar, and salt and pepper.
Bake at chicken shawarma and cherry tomatoes at 425 F for 20 minutes, flipping half way through.
Brush each pita with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and remaining za'atar.
Slice each pita into 8 pieces and air fry at 325 F for 8 minutes, flipping half way.
Dice cucumbers.
After cherry tomatoes come out of the oven, toss with diced cucumbers and feta.
On a plate, add 1 spoonful of greek salad, 2-3 oz of chicken, and 2 tbsp hummus.
Makes 4 servings. To jazz up your hummus, use a spoon to make a divot in the hummus and drizzle w olive oil and za'atar.
